A2F Large Group is a short bible study open to all Indiana University students with fun games and free food hosted at GISB on Thursdays @7pm!

What have we done so far?

  • Having short interactive bible studies

  • Playing fun group games & activities

  • Watching “The Chosen” TV series

  • And eating delicious food!

At A2F Large Group we have free dinner where you can connect with other IU students!

  • A2F Large Group is essentially a short bible study with free food and fun games! We like to interact with short passages in the bible such as Jesus turning water into wine and connecting it to today’s world. It’s a fun introduction to scripture and a cool hang out for those looking for a Christ-centered community!

  • We usually meet on Thursdays at 7PM at the Global and International Studies Building (GISB). We usually have free dinner in the open room with the giant tv screen on the first floor and then move to a nearby classroom for the bible study.

  • Our events are open to all people who are interested in coming. Whether you’ve been in a Christian community before or have zero experience in church, we try to make this event fun and interesting for everyone!

  • We have dinner first for about 30 minutes. Then the bible study goes on for about an hour, afterwards if you want to stick around we play a fun game for another hour! So technically, from about 7-9:30pm. But you can leave earlier if you need to.

Guys’ small group is a time where guys can get together and play fun games, read a short bible passage, and talk about life!

Our guy's small group is a place where guys can connect and talk about the bible in relevant contexts and have fun playing board games as well! Plus we all eat meat.
Girls' small group is a time where girls at Indiana University can connect with each other deeply and talk about God and the Bible in relevant contexts!

Girls Small Group

Girls’ small group is for girls who want to grow deeper in friendships and connect with one another using the Bible!

  • We have two guys small groups (freshman & sophomores and up) and one girls small group! We like to do relevant fun activities together such as playing boardgames or making strawberry shortcake, have some good food, and get into deep conversations about the bible! It’s an open experience for anyone regardless of spiritual background!

  • Tuesdays at 7PM is consistent for all small groups!

    However, places vary week to week! If you have signed up before or decide to sign up right now, we’ll keep you updated on where the next small group will be!

  • There is no commitment level expected at all! If you’re busy we totally understand! All small groups you can just show up with no prep whatsoever. But extra credit to the person who attends large group because usually our biblical discussions are based on the message from that night! :)

  • For sure! But it would be best if you tell us beforehand so that we can gauge better how much food we should bring! Totally fine if it’s last minute, we usually have leftovers lol.
